Needle-Free Allergy Desensitization
What is Needle-Free ALLERGY Desensitization?
Needle-free allergy desensitization (NFAD) is a non-invasive, needle-less technique using acupuncture points and spinal manipulation to desensitize individuals to allergies and sensitivities. It is a modified version of NAET and NMT techniques. Acupressure points, using needle-free acupuncture, chiropractic spinal manipulating devices, needle-free acupuncture chips or cold laser, are activated along with spinal manipulation while the patient holds the allergen to clear individuals suffering from environmental, food, hormonal, or chemical and metal sensitivities. How does it work?
Needle-free allergy desensitization is based on the concepts of Oriental medicine and acupuncture as well as chiropractic or naturopathic spinal manipulation theories. The brain provides warnings to the body whenever blockages, such as a reaction to food, occur within the nervous system's electrical pathways, meridians, or the spine and spinal cord. These warnings include various physical, physiological and psychological discomforts such as rash, fatigue, pain, inflammation, itching, anxiety, sleep disturbances, abdominal symptoms, etc.The stimulation of acupuncture points and manipulation have been known to unblock the nervous system and meridians respectively, allowing the nerves to signal cells and organs more efficiently, effectively, and harmoniously. When an allergen enters the body or is touched, a blockage is created in the meridians and the nervous system. Using needle-free allergy desensitization along with spinal manipulation activates specific acupuncture/acupressure points “to reset” the immune or inflammatory reaction to that substance. The result is the disappearance of sensitivities and allergies.
How are acupuncture points stimulated?
Acupuncture points are stimulated using acupressure, acupuncture, needle-free acupuncture or cold laser while the patient holds the allergen for 10-25 minutes. How effective is needle-free allergy desensitization?
NFAD is very effective in reducing sensitivity reactions and allergy symptoms.Who can have NFAD?
NFAD can be used directly on anyone over the age of 5. Infants under the age of 5 must have the treatment performed indirectly. How often do I have NFAD?
NFAD can be done 1-3 times per week on an individual. Each substance is cleared usually separately. Occasionally, multiple substances can be cleared together in one visit. It may take 1-5 treatments to clear a single substance. Is NFAD safe?
NFAD is safe. It is completely non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical, and non-invasive. There is no pain involved and no discomfort.Any particular preparations required for an NFAD session?
You must avoid showering, exercise, massage therapy, spinal manipulation or acupuncture after the treatment for 8 hours on the day of the session. Avoidance of the allergens for 24 hours can aid in speeding up the desensitization. What conditions may be treatable with NFAD?
Many of the following conditions are related to a reaction to some type of substance and therefore, can be treated with NFAD. Some of the following conditions may require NFAD in conjunction with other supportive therapies, such as Ondamed, diet and nutrition counseling, nutrient supplementation, or detoxification for complete elimination of symptoms.Addictions |
